What is POCSO ?

This Act was introduced in 2012 for protection of children from sexual offences, sexual harassment, pornography etc. Any boy or girl below the age of 18 years is considered as a “Child” under the Act. Special courts have been designated for trial of offences with conducive and child friendly atmosphere.
